CURE HEADACHE.
Headaches are usually induced by costiveness, indigestion, foul stomach, or
other derangements of the digestive system, and may be easily cured by the use
of. Ayer’s Pills. Mrs, Mary A. Scott,
Portland, Me., «writes: “I had suffered
‘ dreadfully , from Sick Headache, and
thought myself incurable. Disorder of
the stomach caused it. Ayer’s Pills cured
me entirely.”
John C. Pattison, Lowell, Nebr., writes:
“} was attacked with Bilious Fever; which
was followed by Jaundice. -I was 80
dangerously. ill, that my friends despaired
of my recovery. I commenced’ taking
Ayer’s Cathartic Pills, and soon regained
my customary strength and vigor, I feel
certain that I owe.my recovery to your
invaluable Pills.”
CURE INDIGESTION.
Ayer’s Pills act directly on the digestive

The Sea Yielding Up’ Her Dead.
“Let me introduce you to *ye most
famous diver in America,” said my companion, as we sat in a little cafe in a
emali seaport: town in Southern. Call: fornia.
A few moments later I was presented
and in conversation with Romano Hernandesz Garcia, tho king of the divers, He
was over 6 feet in height, tali-for his race,
well proportioned, with eyes deep in his
head that blazed with a hidden fire when
he became excited. Garcia. told me a
story, and I relate it as he gave it me:
“TI was engaged some 10 years ago to
examine a man-of-war that had sunk offa
South American port, and had two assist
“anita to help me, One backed out at the
last moment, so two of us went down,
~ “fhe ship had, it was supposed, gone
down with all on board, and we were expected to aénd up the bodies and make a
thorough examination.
“The ship lay in about 50 feet of water
asclearas acrystal, and before we went
down we'could see the fishes swimming
about through the rigging. My partner
went down the foremast and [the mainmast, reaching the deck about the same
time.
“We found her lying at an angle of
about 28 degrees. The sand had washed
up against her port side even with the
deck, so we could have walked off on to. ~
the bottom. This prevented our making
an examivation of her bottom, as it was
supposed that she had been blown up by
a torpedo, though I ami sure she waslying
at anchor, under sail, with ports open,
and was capsized by a squall, We found
the ports open, and the anchor out with
100 fathoms of chain.
“It was midday when we struck her,
and it was as light as day on her deck.
“T went aft to go through the aftercom“pantonway, and found it closed by a big
boom, with the wheel broken, and rammed
against it in some way.
“Going forward, we found the hatches
all closed, so we concluded that there
were dead men near at hand, Wedetermined to try the cabin first, so began
work at-it with the bars, and shortly had
itopen,
open like as ifsome one had pushed it,
and immediately out there came an officer
ard the boat,
on as the hatch was raised.
I looked around for my partner:
