Resolution 69-160(A Resolution authorizing Agreement -between Cranmer Engineering and the Co, for~drafting services in drafting department of the Assessor's Office) 4, Resolution 69-161 (A Resolution complying with the Wcter Code of the State of Calif. in re: preparation of tax rolls, bills, etc., for the Nevada Irrigation District) The Auditor-Controller presented Resolution 69-162 (Authorized Personnel Resolution) which was adopted. The Purchasing Agent appeared and reported that the Dept, of Public Works would like to declare surplus two --ten ton rollers, request granted, The Guardians of Nevada County's Natural Heritage group appeared and presented their proposed Slash Ordinance, The County Counsel ruled that the Board could not adopt a Slash Ordinance, but could adopt an Ordinance pertaining to Fire Suppression, The Guardians were instructed to meet with the County Counsel to prepare such an Ordinance, and’ to meet with . the Logging Industry to attempt to draw an ordinance that everyone can live with.
