THE TAYLOR FOUNDRY on Mill Street in Grass Valley was once part of the mining boom for the hard rock mines in the area. The Yuba Youth Self Help . told to remove wood operation Youth Self Help, located onthe site of Old Seven Hills School Plant, has been asked to. remove a wood yard because it violates the Nevada City Zoning Ordinance. The county owns the former school plant, which has been
leased to Youth Self Help for a nominal fee. The agreement, according to County Counsel Leo Todd, allows the leasing ‘oup to use the grounds. The Nevada City Council, by letter, advised supervisors complaints concerning the wood yard operation have been received.
