SAN ANTONIO — Captain
David A. Voight, whose wife,
Sheran, is the daughter of Mrs.
Roy Rutherford of Grass Valley,
has graduated from the U. S. Air
Force instrument pilot
instructor school at Randolph
AFB, Tex.
Captain Voight was selected
for the school because of his
exceptional ' professional
qualifications. During the sixweek highly specialized course
he was further trained in
navigational aids and
instrument flying techniques to
prepare him for duty as a flight
examiner and an instructor for
both jet and turboprop aircraft
pilots.
Captain Voight is returning to
Hill AFB, Utah, for duty with the
1550th Fighter Training
Squadron. The 1550th is a unit of
the Military Airlift Command
which provides global airlift for
U.S. military forces.
i He has completed a year of
4 } duty in Vietnam. A 1961
graduate of Downey (Calif.)
