THE NEV ADA COUNTY NUGGET — Thursday, June 10, 1976 —7
Davis offers course for the anxlety-ridden
Davis — Everyone experiences some form of anxiety
— depression, guilt, anger or frustration. How each individual copes with anxiety, however, is an entirely different matter. Some go “‘off the deep end’’ and take out
their frustration or anger on.others by committing crimes
and end up being committed to an institution. Others are
more fortunate and can take a rational approach by
getting in touch with their anxieties and working them out
—— f
Peter Koestenbaum, nationally-known for his
tatlicilien et carta panei iets
and solving of questions in personal development, will .
Present a special two-day workshop this summer focusing
on how to cope with your snxietion,
Managing Anxiety will show you how to confront
anxiety and make it work for you. Dr. Koestenbaum.

immortality, meaning and responsibility. He will focus on
the use of anxiety in discovering personal answers to
fundamental human problems, including vague fears and
feelings of powerlessness and insignificance. Participants
should read Part One of his book Anxiety and
will also benefit from reading Part One of Existential
Sexuality before the first class meeting.
The course will be held in Room 2, Wellman Hall on
