more autonomy
A resolution which gives the
OEDP public works task force
considerable autonomy in its.
work was approved by the Ne.
vada county supervisors Tuesday.
The board had the resolution
and accompanying policies and
procedures under consideration
for two weeks before acting.
The material was prepared by
the task force.
The policy makes the task
force responsible to its own
board, but Chairman of Supervisors Lou Hartman said afterward the supervisors still will
retain ultimate control through
budgetary approval.
The task force members will
be "responsible to themselves,"
Hartman noted, and the supervisors' control will be "to issue
them money on a 90-day basis."
Each three months, any money
_the group needs for the following
90 days will come before the
board for approval, he said.
