Good Logging News--Annual Cut Increased
NEVADA CITY---Good news for the lumbermen purchasing timber from the Tahoe National Forest is announced by H. E, Branagh, forest supervisor.
With the official approval on three of the Tahoe's four
Management plans, the allowable annual cut has been
raised from 85 million feet to 129.9 million board feet
In 1956 the Forest Service launched on an inventory
program of considerable more intensity than was used in
the original estimate. Despite serious fire seasons this
field work was completed in 1960 with the following results,

of the bride's mother. The
jtables were beautifully deicorated with floral center. pieces arranged by Lloyd Penrose. After the traditional
icutting of the wedding cake
land Champagne toast, the
young couple left on their
jhoneymoon to Las Vegas and
southern California with the
