pulling power. ] COMPLETE SUPPLY OF BUILDING MATERIAL . YUBA RIVER . . LUMBER CO. Wednesday, June 5, 1968 Miscreant flees during foot race in Midvalley Country. Perhaps belief in the axiom “justice delayed is justice denied” was responsible for this incident reported in the Oroville Weekly Register in 1905. “The Authorities at Winfield offered a thief his freedom if he would run fifty yards in six seconds and pay the costs in his case. The thief ran the distance in the stipulated time, but attained such momentum that he did not stop to pay the costs.” The speedy gentleman in this case appealed to the laws of momentum to save some money. And gain his freedom. At Midvalley Savings, we impart a different kind of momentum to savings accounts. It’s called “daily compounding.” And it builds savings by leaps and bounds. For instance, when interest on your savings is compounded daily for one year, at our MID DVALLEY SAVINGS current rate of 5%, you actually earn 5.13%. At that rate, your investment doubles in less than fourteen years. Add to your account before the 10th of the month and you get an extra bonus. Interest on those funds will be compounded from the Ist. Even if you can't visit one of our offices in person, Midvalley's save-by-mail program does the job for you. And we pay postage both ways. At Midvalley Savings, your account is insured to $15,000 by a permanent agency _of the Federal Government. By opening multiple ownership accounts, a family can maintain insured savings several times that amount. It's easy to open an account at Midvalley. Either stop by, or mail a check. Your savings will begin safely growing. And you'll begin gaining some freedom from financial uncertainties.
