A preliminary budget of $606,011, up one per cent over last year, was approved Wednesday by the Nevada City School board, Included in the budget was a $15 a month raise for classified personnel, a composite Blue Cross Health plan for teachers and their families and -. paises of just under $20 and just under $40 a month respectively for principal Bill Gallagher and Supt, Dan Woodard, The teacher's negotiators and the board's negotiator agreed on. the composite Blue Cross health plan but Woodard, negotiator for the board, did not approve a dental plan also requested’ by the teachers.
