In District II Thomas Turner grabbed over 50% of the votes from three other candidates to win the supervisor position. On January 1 Turner will replace Dean Lawrence who did not seek re-election. Supervisor Willie Curran was re-elected witha large majority. Turner received 1,225 votes, His opponents, Dale Hafelfinger had 592; Elton (Champ) Williams 385 and Ruth Brehm, 199. Turner won election by a narrow 49 votes, Supervisor Willie Curran was re-elected with a large majority of votes in District V. : In District I Buchanan, the current board chairman, received 973 votes.
