A fair spring blossomsthis month in Sacramento with the opening ofthe annual California State Spring Fair and Quarter Horse Racing Meet which will run through April 2. ; Clarence L. Azevedo, president of the State Fair Board, announced recently the introduction of four diversified show programs for this year's spring festival. Quarter horses will be off and running daily except Sunday throughout the Fair schedule and Mondays March 21 and 28, with the addition of an extra race bringing the total to nine each day, ten horsés to a race. Post time for the 1966 $176,000 purse race meet has been moved Official rodeo dates aré March 13,°20° and 27, Admission to the rodeo arena will be $1 with no reserved seating. Children under six when accompanied by an adult will be admitted free. The shows start at 1 p.m. Textiles from throughout the world will be displayed March 26 through April 2 in the annual Spring Fair International Textile Exposition. With entries expected from as many as a dozen nations in the Orient, Europe and North America, the show will open its doors immediately after judging by ™ topexperts in the field. Admission is free. — Fourth in the field of Spring Fair programs will be the sixth annual Industrial Arts Exposition and award program featuring the work of high school students throughout the state.
