The announcement was made by Cotton Rosser, owner of the Flying U Rodeo Company of Marysville, and Fallon, Nev., who will supply bucking stock. Two years ago Little Booger was named No. 2 in the world, by cowboys at the National Finals Rodeo, after he unseated none other than Jim Shoulders of Henryetta, Okla., rated the greatest bull rider in history. He has been ridden only four times in two years. During 1961 the feat was performed in a “revenge” ride by Shoulders, and again by Duane Howard, Minnewaukan, N.D., who ranked sixth in the world in that event in 1960. Little Booger's record becomes even more amazing when it is pointed out that his two rides in 1960 were backstopped by 50 others in which the cow boysbit the dust. In 1961 he appeared 48 times, spilling 46. He is lightning fast out of — the chutes and frequently crosses up cowboys who think they know him by. shifting his style of bucking. TOTAL INC. HC.
