Highway Engineer, Room 5101,
Public Works Building, 1120 N
Street, Sacramento, California,
until 2 o'clock p.m, on April 5,
1972, at which time they will
be publicly opened and read in
the Assembly Room of said
building, for construction on
State highway in accordance with
the specifications therefor, to
which special reference is made,
as follows:
Nevada County, about 5.0
miles north of Nevada City,
‘from 1,7 miles south to 0,9mile south of South Yuba River
(Portions) (03-Nev-49-20.3/21.1), a truck passing lane
for an existing 2-lane highway
to be constructed by grading and
surfacing with asphalt concrete
over existing pavement and aggregate base,
Bids are required for the
entire work described herein.
Plans, specifications, proposal forms for bidding this
project can only be obtained
at the office of the State Highway Engineer, Public Works
Building, Sacramento, California, and may be seen at the offices of the State Highway Engineer at Sacramento, and the
District Engineers at Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the
district in which the work is
situated,
The successful bidder shall
furnish a payment bond and a
performance bond,
Pursuant to Section 1770 of
the Labor Code, the Department has acertained the general prevailing rate of wages
in the county in which the work
is to be done, to be as listed
in the Department of Public
Works, Division of Highways
publication entitled Equipment
Rental Rates and General Prevailing Wage Rates, dated
March, 1972,

AMENDING ORDINANCE NO,
277 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF ZONES
IN. THE CITY OF NEVADA
CITY AND REGULATING THE
USES OF PROPERTY THEREIN, ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING SAID ZONES, PROVIDING
FOR PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS AND REPEALING ANY
ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS
OF ORDINANCES INCONFLICT
HEREWITH"
The City Council of the City
of Nevada City does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No, 277
is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following new section numbered 26:
Section 26, CERTAIN TERRITORY REZONED. The following described territory is hereby rezoned from "Rl Onefamily zone" to "LI Limited
industrial zone", and_ shall
henceforth be subjet to all of
the provisions of said ordinance applicable to an "LILimited industrial zone": All
that portion of the HollowayLinch Addition to the City of
Nevada City described as follows:
Beginning at the most easterly corner. of said HollowayLinch Additfon said point being
in the westerly line of Lower
Grass Valley Road; thence S
12 16’ W., 80.00 feet; thence
N 80° 45' 15° W., 475.48 feet;
thence N 19° 12' E,, 100.00
feet; thence S 78° 27' E., 462,78
feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. Ordinance No, 277
is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following new section numbered 27:
Section 27. CERTAIN TERRITORY REZONED. The following described territory is
hereby rezoned from ''Rl Onefamily zone" to "R2 Multiple
dwelling zone": All that portion
of the Holloway-Linch Addition
to the City of Nevada City described as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of said HollowayLinch Addition said point being
in the westerly line of Lower
Grass Valley Road; thence N
82° 56' W., 488.93 feet; thence
N 19° 12' E., 100.00 feet; thence
S 80° 45' 15° E., 475.48 feet to
a point in the westerly line of
Lower Grass Valley Road;
thence S 12° 16’ W., 80.00 feet
along said westerly line to the
point of beginning,
Section 3. The official Zoning
Map of the City of Nevada City,
dated July 8, 1963, and filed
with the City Clerk, is hereby
amended to conform with the
provisions of this ordinance,
The City Clerk shall promptly
cause said map to be altered
so as to reflect said amendments thereon, and said alteration shall be initialed by the
Mayor.
Section 4, This ordinance
shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days after its final
passage, and shall be published
once,. within fifteen (15) days
after such passage, in the Nevada County Nugget, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the
City of Nevada City.
Passed and adopted at aregular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Nevada City, California, this 13th day of March,
1972, by the following votes:
