Gaines, Deputy Clerk The meeting was called to order at 10:01 A.M, by order of the Chairman and all Board members were noted as present. Upon motion, the minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved. Upon motion, the Chairman was authorized to sign the Claims Register, thereby releasing the following warrants for payment: FUNDS WARRANTS AMOUNTS General 6,547 -6,627 $6,000.32 Fund The County Auditor appeared and rendered the report of his Department, Upon motion, dul y seconded and passed unanimously, Resolution 64-41 (A Resolution setting the 13th day of April, 1965, at 2:00 P.M. for public hearing of the matter of the annexation of the territory described as the ‘Truckee Fire Protection District. ) adopted, Upon motion, duly seconded and passed unanimously, ResoluPlay Number Sweepstakes S & H Green Stamps tion 65 -42(A Resolution of intention to proceed with the planned improvement of the Perimeter Road and that it is further intended thatthe sum of ten thousand dollars per year will be expended for this project, for four years, beginning with the fiscal year 19651966) was adopted. Upon motion, duly seconded and passed unanimously, Resolution 65-43 (A Resolution amending the Governing-Gede for the Medical Staff of the Nevada County Hospital) was adopted by the Board, The Purchasing Agent appeared before the Board and stated that repair work at the Washington and Main Street Junction will be done as soon as the weather permits. The new Board of Supervisors Chambers, locatedinthe old Superior Court Chambers should be ready to move into by April 1, 1965. The Purchasing Agent was authorized to proceed with the study plan of the consolidation of the County Clerks Office and the County Recorders Office, with the sanction of the Planning Director ~and..Mr.“Kohler. ‘This being the time heretofore set for a Public Hearing of the rezoning of the Loma Rica Industrial POINTED. LIEVABLY LOW. D Park& Vicinity from anA-1 Zone to an M Zone, the Chairman asked if there were any persons in the audience who would like to speak either in favor of said rezoning or in opposition of said rezoning. There being no one present in either case, a motion was made, duly seconded and passed unanimously, adopting Ordinance #313 (An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 196.) Upon motion, duly seconded and passed unanimously, Resolution 65-44(A Resolution requesting the California Highway Commission to permit a public road connection to be established for Wolf Creek Estates Subdivision, in lieu of the private access connection) was adopted by the Board. Resolution 65 -45 (A Resolution authorizing exceptionsto Nevada County Subdivision Ordinance
No. 268 for Huntsdale Estates) adopted by the Board, Resolution 65-46 (A Resolution authorizing exceptions to Nevada County Subdivision Ordinance No. 268 for Alta Sierra EstatesFive) adopted by the Board. Supervisor Blake stated that the people living in Lazy Valley Acres Subdivision would like assurance as to whether or not if the roads are brought up to the previous CLOSE-OUT THIS ISAONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY TO STOCK YOUR GARDEN WITH QUALITY BARE ROOT FRUIT TREES, BERRIES, ROSES AND ASPARAGUS. ALPHA MUST MAKE ROOM FOR NEW STOCK---THE NEW GARDEN SHOP IS BEING RESTOCKED AND MORE ROOM IS NEEDED. A discussion ensued and Supervisor Blake was informed that he could assure these people that this was the Boards thinking. -Upon motion, duly seconded and passed unanimously, Resolution 65 -47 (A Resolution concerning the sale of real property in the Chicago Park Area) was adcpted by the Board, The Chairman read a letter of resignation from Supervisor Neil R. Hennessy, as Supervisor of the Third Supervisorial District, due to other interests and commitments. Subject resignation will be effective April 30, 1965. Upon motion, duly seconded and passed unanimously, Resolution 65-48 (A Resolution amending the Authorized Personnel Resolution) was adopted by the Board. The Chairman read a letter from Sheriff Brown, accepting the appointment of Sheriff-Coroner of Nevada County. Upon motion, duly seconded and passed unanimously, Resolution 65 -49(A Resolution of Intention to sell Tax Deeded Property) was adopted by the Board, ' There being no further business tocome before the Board, a motion was made, duly seconded and passed unanimously, to adjourn the meeting.
