Crossing.
THE MALAKOFF HYDRAULIC DIGGINS are now scheduledtobeturned into a state park. It was here that the miners turned
the land inside out looking for gold. The view on the left is how the traveler will find it today and the view on the right
shows how it used to be in the heyday of hydraulic mining.
