the day will ever come. fiers To The Editor Dear Sir, Iam writing tothis famous little newspaper to express my views on the proposed freeway ruaning through the middle of your beautiful city. As an educator, teaching conservation and the preservation of our natural beauty and our historical scenes, I was completely shocked to hear of the freeway. In my school alone there are over 1,500 students, all from a higher income bracket, whose parents have. less there is some attraction. After the article about Nev ada City was published in Sunset magazine, people from Southern California went to Nevada City by the hundreds. And they told other people. I have hope that the in telligent people of the community will see how valuable it is to preserve our historical places and re-route the freeway. Very truly yours, (Miss) Loretta E.
