Rose joined Bank of America . in San Francisco in 1936, and Willard Rose for the next 10 years, served in various positions in Los Gatos, Jackson and Grass Valley branches, In 1944 he was promoted to officer status at the Grass Valley Branch, and the following year moved to the Rideout Branch in Marysville.
