Harold Berliner will Seek Re-election
District Attorney Harold A.
Berliner, veteran of nine years
Service as attorney for the people,
has announced his candidacy for
re-election.
Appointed tothe office in 1957
succeeding Nevada County Superior Judge Vernon Stoll he was
reelected to the office in 1958
and again in 1962,-He commenced his law practice in Nevada County in 1951 when he took
over the law offices of Frank
Finnegan of Nevada City, now
a superior court judge of Sacramento County.
In announcing his candidacy
last Thursday Berliner said:

Richard Nickless of Nevada
City has been named Citizen of
the Year by the Nevada County
Historical Society and will be
honored by the Society at a dinner April 30 in the Nevada City
Elementary School,
Nickless is the curator of the
Society's museumin Nevada
City.
The Society has scheduled a
two part program for its monthly
meeting 7:45 tonight in the
Nevada City Veterans Building.
