MEDITATION MOMENT Father, teach meto listen when I pray, Thank You for listening, and for others also, who are willing to listen, Help me to see myself as 1am today, Make me realize that what I was yesterday counts for very little, Yesterday was important then, ‘but Who arn I today? What am I now? The scrapbook is fading, the trophies are tarnished, the badges and medals lie forgotten in a tattered box, Let me be grateful for the good things of yesterday, but teach me how to weed out the impediments, Show me how to take stock of today, Let me not hold onto old, worout titles, rather make me see them as tomorrow ’s trivia, Help me to evaluate my worth in terms of . today's inventory, Nolonger let me cling to wilted laurels and moth-eaten honors, Help me to realize that yesterday was important then, but I cannot live it over again, ---I must live now. Today is all I really have, Help meto make the best of it. In spite of yesterday's medals, trophies, titles and honors, help me to measure up to today, Although there may be no tokens of recognition for this day's endeavors, help me to make them-my best. H.
