PENN VALLEY MOBILE RANCH
There will be a beautification
program started here inthis park
soon. Pictures will be taken
before and after, and the Mobilhome that has the prettiest
grounds (landscaping) etc. will
receive a lovely prize. Ill
watch the progress, and keep you
informed. One thing I know that
with this lovely weather we are
having, I'm anxious to start a
beautification program all my
own, and I guess that this is
true of all of us. There is a
lovely IRISH couple staying with
us for awhile. The name O'Shaunessy of course. Don't hurry
away!
WAGON-HO
Expecting some new tenants
soon, right now nothing much
happenning here. The Olsons
are bowling in the Blue Chip
League at the Gold Bowl. Lucky
people to have them in their
league,-as their living room is
full: of ‘the beautiful trophies
that those two have won in the
past years.
MOUNTAIN AIR
We are expecting some new
tenants also, and it will be nice
to have the new section full,
expecially when they get their
awnings and skirts all installed, and the flowers planted.
Takes a while to get things all
settled so in a few weeks or so
we should be looking pretty good
around our Park, Our Cancer
Dressing Chapter meets on
Tuesday of every week, and the
girls are certainly getting those
dressings out. Remember all
you Mobilhome people, you can
certainly help by saving your
old sheets, and the large paper
bags, and dropping them by here.
We are 4 miles So. of G, V.
on the Auburn Hwy.
ALL MOBILHOME OWNERS
AT LARGE
Remember that your news is
just as important to me as that
from the Parks, so if you have
visitors, or plan on going ona
vacation, just call, and we will
get your news in.
As many of you already know
we really had a swell turn-out
at our Golden State Mobilhome
Owners League meeting last
Friday night, place was filled
we were able to get enough
members to ask for a charter
for a new chapter to be called
'The. GOLDEN CHAIN CHAPter of mobilhome owners
on private property.
This will be the very first
chapter of this kind in all the
State of Calif: and we are quite
proud of it, and hope all you
that are on private property will
join our organization and help
us fight unfair and discriminatory taxes aimed at our way of
living. Our new president is
Mrs, Ruth Eddy of Rough and
Ready, Cal., vice-pres. Dottie
Barham, Penn Valley, and Mrs.
Cahill (FRANCES) these three
are real fighters, and I want

~ WARMLY
A friendly call is always welcomed by newcomers to your
neighborhood. They'll be
ebey to meet you. Later,
they'll want to know you better.
But right now, they need something more—directions to the
nearest schools and shopping
facilities and all the other information one needs on arriving in a strange city.
So make your welcome a little
warmer with the help of a Welcome Wagon hostess. She'll
provide all this and gifts as
well.
When new neighbors move
in, call Welcome Wagon.
You'll be glad you did..
and they will, too.
