Two concerts by Salinas musicians Alisal High School musicians from Salinas will give two concerts in Nevada City one at Seven Hills School arid one at Nevada Union High “May School. ~The concert will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Seven Hills and -at 7:30 that evening at NUHS. The Alisal musicians will have. played their first concert of their Northern California tour at Marysville on Thursday evening. Thirteen attend Worry Clinic There were 13 ‘‘enthusiastic™ worriers at the first Worry Clinic sponsored by the county public health department and Nevada General Hospital. The Clinic held Thursday morning in the Nevada City Veterans Building was designated to meet needs of parents of babies and pre-school children. The next session will be an evening meeting at the -same location March 20. Cleolue White, coordinator of the clinic and director of nurses at NGH, said 12 mothers and one father atiented the initial ane. together. Mothers expressed a hope that some evenirg meetings can be held so that working fathers also may attend. Mrs. White said the sponsors hope to expand the program so Worry Clinics also may be held in Grass Valley to avoid transportation problems for parents in that area. She described the response to the project as enthusiastic. Each parent was handed a blank piece of paper and. asked to list three worries. Senior citizens began to arrive in the basement for their regular luncheon meeting while the younger generation still was occupying the quarters.
