said the federal government will
require about $100,000 in work
before it will allow the city to
reopen the airport. The council
committee will investigate, and =
the council ordered survey work
at the airport completed by its
next meeting.
The Canada Hill reservoir site
has been up in the air for more
thana year, too, The city wants
additional property to expand its
water facility there, but the
Bureau of Land Management considers the area of prime recrea~
tional potential and the city has
not yet come up with a recrea~
tional use plan which satisfies the
potential of the site.
