“Terry Pollard
does research
Terry Lee Pollard, the
daughter of Ken and Wilma
Pollard of Nevada City, has
recently completed research in
Montana on a grant awarded her
by the National Science
Foundation.
The research was in the fieldof geology and was carried out
under the direction of two
professors from the University
of Montana. They researched
the area of the Montana
Lineament, aided by the
National Aeronautics and Space
Administration through the use
of photos taken by ERTS.

ballots already ordered will be
mailed today. Anyone who will
not be at home on June 4,
election day, may obtain an
absentee ballot between now
and May 28. The ballots may becompleted .at home or at the
clerk’s office in the voting booth.
All absentee ballots must’ be
completed and returned to the
clerk’s' office by June 3 to be
counted in the balloting.
