Lunardi announced last week that a regular meeting of the Wildlife Conservation Board will be held June 8 at 1:30 p,m. in the State Employment Building, 722 Capitol Avenue, at whichtime the Board will consider'a proposal to build public boat launching facilities at Lake Tahoe, The parcel of land on which The parcel of land is located at the old fish hatchery site near Tahoe City. ‘The area contains nine acres with 150 feet of lake frontage. The facilities would occupy about two acres, and include a threelane launching ramp, together with parking facilities for approximately 100 cars and trailers, The balance of the land would be developed by the county for day use picnic facilities, it is proposed. It if estimated that approximately $50, 000 will be allocated by the Wildlife Conservation Board for the project. The facilities would be operated by Placer County and it has been suggested that a nominal entrance charge should be made during’ that time of the year when the major use of the area is not by fishermen.
