Army Pfc. Donald L.
Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Leuis H. Brown, Route 2,
Grass Valley, recently participated with other personnel from the 4th Armored
Division in Exercise Jeeper,
a command post exercise in
Germany.
The training was designed
to determine the combat
effectiveness of units employing wheeled vehicles in
reconnaissance missions.
Brown, an assistant squad
leader in Headquarters
Company of the division's
54th Infantry in Heilbronn,
entered the Army in December, 1958, completed basic training at Fort Hood,
Texas, and arrived overseas
