The Association being an extensive buyer had concessions made to it by the railroad, and from that concession the Association derives its profit. The little son of Mr. Wishbone, 7 years of age-—the son, not the old man—had been in the habit of feeding the pickerel that abound in‘the lake, especially one of enormous size, One day the little fellow, while engaged at this froma boat in front of his father’s residence, fell overboard, and this identical pickerel, with @ memory of the past worthy of all praise, swam to the boy, took the lappel of his jacket ‘. stenderly in his mouth, and swam. with him to the shore.
