Courthouse Nevada City, California Gentlemen: We recommend that Nevada county é h emergency zoning for the” lands adjacent to Fuller Lake which are now being subdivided through the parcel split process, a Fuller Lake is one of the most popular fishing and recreation lakes in the county. The lake is also part of the county's domestic water supply system, Land along the north shore is currently being split into par, cels ranging from 2 to 5 acres, The lots extend out intothe middle of the lake, The County Sanitarian has informally indicated to us that the lots are already too small for effective sewage disposal. The small lots currently being established are contrary to the general plan for the area and could set an undesirable precedent for the remainder of the Bowman Road. We Suggest that action be taken to prevent the newly created parcels at Fuller Lake from being split any smaller, At the present time we are planting about 15,000 catchable rainbow trout per year in Fuller Lake. If lot development along the shore results in the impairment of aceess or water quality, we would be forced to cut back or terminate our catchable trout plants in Fuller Lake. We would appreciate prompt action in this matter. Sincerely, BEN GLADING Regional Manager Region II WSCS will meet.
