The next two meetings of Past Presidents Association No. 6 will be held on the third Fridays of Nov. and Dec, These meetings will not conflict with the holidays, Verna Taylor, Hilda Sandow and Alva Reed will be committee members for November, Professional Women’s Club Has Guest Speaker ‘Women's Success in the Business World" was the topic chosen by Marion Wells as guest speaker of the Nevada City Business and Professional Women's Club at their dinner meeting held Oct, 25 at the National Hotel in Nevada City. Zada Bartchwas chairman of the evening and introduced the guest speaker, This meeting was not only in honor of National Business Women's Week, but was also the initiation of two new members into the club, Marion Wollums and Evelyn Dalaba were the new members with Maxine Reed serving as the initiating officer. The club also voted to accept Bea Nickerl, Louisa Ryan and Pearl Glass into the membership of the club with their initiation to follow at a future date, Nov. 8 will be the Legislation Dinner with Marion Ash of Sacramento as speaker of the evening.
