-The completion of this grant
request is an important forward
_ step for the ‘Area 4 Agency on

the elderly in Area 4. There are
over 108,000 Senior Citizens in
the eight counties.
Because of the _ everincreasing numbers of elderly,
the Grace Lutheran Church
serve them. They have suc-cessfully followed through to
their goal with the assistance of
a special grant for the aged
through the Area 4 Agency on
Bravery candidates.

The program is under the
direction of the United States
Attorney General, whose office
will make the final selection.
Nominees must be a person 18
years old or younger who
habitually resides in the United
States or its territories. The
medal for bravery will go to the
young person who during a
given calendar year has
exhibited exceptional courage,
regardless of personal safety, in
an effort to save a life or lives
which are in danger.
The medal for service will go
to a young person who has
achieved outstanding or unusual
recognition for character and
service during a given calendar
