Thanksgiving Concert in the
Sanctuary of the First Methodist
ChurchinGrass Valley Sunday at
3 p.m.

The concert is sponsored by the
Missions and Worship Commis-~
sions of the Grass Valley church
for the benefit of the International
Christian Youth Exchange, a nonprofit organization responsible for
the placing of Glenda Goerz, ‘63
graduage of Nevada Union High
School, in a Norwegian home and
school for one year, and responsible for bringing NUHS senior
student Oyvind Gulliksen from
Norway to Grass Valley.
The program willinclude songs
by the Choristers under the direction of Mrs. Kenneth Beatie, a
group of fourth through sixth grade
boys and girls; and by the Wesley
Singers under the leadership of
Mrs. Leo Hamilton, junior and
senior high school youngsters. A
boys’ choral group will be led by
Willard Goerz.
Instrumental numbers will include a brass quartet and woodwind group under the direction of
Harold George, Jr., and a violin
ensemble under the direction of
Bernard Rockwood. e
