r In order to put a little extra money in the district coffer the _ Nevada Irrigation District has j been selling trees from property around Scott’s Flat Reservoir. In 1974 a contract was made with the Yuba River Lumber Co. to harvest softwood from Albert Scurr. According to Scurr the contract was renewed in 1975 but none was ever granted a contract to remove hardwoods, such as oak. The problem of who was to remove the oak wood from land owned by the public, through the district, faced the Pat, gy 4 meeting Wednesday.
