12 The Nevada County Nugget Wed., Oct. 10,1973
THIS COLORFUL maple in the Jaycees’ park signals the changing seasons for
visitors and residents alike. Western Nevada county has hundreds of maple and
liquid amber trees but this tree in Grass Valley is probably seen by more people
than any other. Maples and liquidambers provide the most spectacular show
when the first cold nights start their color change.
