Charles Maurer, presiding seminar to be held at the fairSociety, the directive agency for
minister for the Nevada City groundsin Auburn is sponsored by Jehovah's Witnesses in the United
Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, announced preliminary
arrangements have been madefor the congregation to attend a
three-day circuit convention in
Auburn, October 29-31.
The assembly is to provide a
special training program in field
ministry for Jehovah's Witnesses
and built around the assembly
theme, “Increasing Our Praise to
Jehovah",
In his announcement to the
congregation Maurer said, “The
assembly program will be an aid
not only in assisting Christians in
being more effective as they
speak with interested persons in
the Christian ministry from
house-to-house, but will also
‘make those attending aware of
the growing tide of materialism
in this country which threatens
to swallow Christians unless
proper balance is attained in
acquiring material things. “
