"8 The Nevada County Nugget,
Planners set hearings,
pollution discussion
County planning commissioners will continue two public
hearings and discuss pollution
caused by increased population —
and tourism at a special meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The public hearings are as
follows:
--Proposed zoning of 10.343
acres in an _ agricultural
residential district to establish
a two family mobile home or
more or less restrictive district. The property is east of
the existing Grass Valley Mobile Home Village on State Highway 49, south of Grass Valley.
A site plan for additional mobilhome units has been filed with
the petition.
--Seven zoning maps covering approximately 170,000 acres
east of Washington and west of
Truckee.
The discussion concerning
pollution will be with the Nevada
County Chamber of Commerce
board of directors, The chamber asked for the discussion.
Commissioners also will review proposed hillside development standards and slope charts.
The commission at a meeting
last week took the following
action:
--Approved Richard T. Tremewan's use permit application
to operate a cabinet shop and
assemble components for cable

CHICKEN SAUTE
2 Tbsp. each, butter and salad oil
Dust chicken with flour seasoned with salt and pepper.
Brown in oil and butter in large heavy skillet. Add the onion
and wine; simmer 30 to 45 minutes, or until the chicken
is tender, Keep chicken warm while adding mayonnaise to
pan juices and blending. Add parsley and a generous dash _
of paprika before pouring over chicken,

Cars collide: no injury
A Reno man and a Grass Valley resident. were involved in a
minor accident Saturday. No injuries were reported.
According to the Grass Valley police officer's report, Colin S. Pederson of Reno made
_ an improper left turn in front
of Kenneth Aguilar, 22 of Grass
Valley.
The Pederson car had major
damage to the left side and the
Aguilar car had moderate damage to the right front. Pederson
was cited for making an improper turn,
