conducted for adult leaders in
Cub Scouting. in the Tahoe Area
Council.
O. W. "Bud" Bennett, director
of the Cub Scouting program
service of the Boy Scouts of
America, will meet with Cub
leaders during several training
meetings.
Separate training meetings
will be held with Den Mothers
and with Pack Committeemen
and their Cubmasters,
The Tahoe Area Council presently serves over one thousand
boys in the Cub Scouting pro
gram alone. Growth in the program over the past year has
exceeded 25%. Many new leaders are in need of training.
Bennett has been with the National Council of the Boy Scouts
of America since 1946 and is
the author and illustrator of
most of the publications involved in the Cub Scouting program.
