MOUNTAIN AIR MOBILE PARK
Last week we had a new 24'
x 52° mobile home moved into
our park. It was fascinating to
watch the skill of the movers
in putting a home as large as
it was into what appeared a
small space. I didn't see how
it could take it, besides having
two large pine trees to maheuver around, But they got it

Watson’s initiative — in
terms of the fiscal chaos it
would create in California —
makes the McLain scheme
look like a penny ante proposition.
Under the lure of property
tax relief for homeowners,
the measure in fact would
bring about a shift of some
$2,500,000,000 in taxes from
local property levies to the
state tax base. The only
meaningful sources of revenue to the state to try and
fund this huge tax shift are
the state income tax and the

the type where you form the

lovely things made from the
lowly and despised pine needle.
One of these days I'll just retire and have a good time.
Amy Andrews’ daughter and
her husband were visiting over
the weekend. They all went over
to the Village and enjoyed the
Art and Hobby Show held there.
Myrtle Moore had her daughter
and husband visiting from Canada this past week, Myrtle saw
that they visited all the interesting places in this area, Reno,
and San Francisco, Her son-inlaw was really fascinated by
Reno. I wonder why?

GRASS VALLEY
MOBILE VILLAGE
Four new residents have
moved into the Village, and
Rosemary Decker has already
contacted them to welcome them
first, then to get them as members of G.S.M.O.L. Wish I had
a dozen or so more workers like
Rosemary. We would be 10,000
strong in our area alone! .
Next Thursday night is the
Halloween party at the village,
Jerry Howard, Earle andGladys
Harper will furnish the music
for the entertainment.
All members on private
property, remember our meeting is to be held at the Peardale-Chicago Park fire house
