Jc Jc Nevada County NUGGET..Wednesday, October 31, 1962..Page 11 family origin Miss Betty Advisor of El Dorado County, in the third session of the Dressing by Design class which shes cofiducting in the Veteran's Memorial Building in Grass Valley. Miss Hewitt explained how to recognize the color families to which an individual's hair color, skin color, and eye color belong. There are warmer or cooler versions in personal coloring. For example: the combination of a deep sun tanned skin tone, brown eyes, and brown hair is a consistent warm theme, The combination of a light pink and white skin, blue eyes, andblue black hair, or white hair, »is a consistent -cool theme. The skin tones of most people fall somewhere between these two examples, Every individual wants to select the colors he or she ~ can best wear. In deciding those colors, Miss Hewitt told her audience to consider thequality of warmth or coolness of the color, Colors are considered warm if they contain enough yellow or yellow red. Colors are considered cool if they contain a noticeable quantity of blue.
