She was born in the town of Omega in 1870 and was a member of a pioneer Nevada County family. She is believed to be one of the last of Omega's pioneer families. She resided in. the family home on upper Nevada Street until three years ago when she went to make her home with her niece Mrs, Halcomb. A requiem was said in St. Canice Catholic Church Oct. was in Pine Grove Cemetery. Bergemann Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements. ++ ++ + EASON ---the body of Robert L. Eason of Grass Valley was found in his car October 24, 1963, on Lower Banner Road near Lom Rica Ranch. Death was termed suicide by the coroner's office. He was the husband of Genevieve Eason and father of five children, all of Grass Valley, brother of Betty Seereiter, Oakland, Katherine Hickerson, Modesto, Frances Tegerdine, Hayward; and son of Mrs. Fred Eason, Alameda. He was 40 years of age and a native of Auburn, California. He was last employed as a supervisor at the California ,Youth Authority in Smartville.
