Grass Valley PTA Begins Drive
The Grass Valley Elementary
PTA has designated Oct.2, thru
Oct. 6 as the dates for their
official membership drive.
The letters PTA, as most everyone knows, stand for parentteacher association, but they
stand for much more, They stand
for common aims shared by millions of Americans -homemakers, businessmen, doctors,
lawyers, mechanics, clerks, The
magnet that draws all these men
and women together in the PTA
is their caring and concern for
children and youth, in home,
school, church, and community.
PTA stands for responsible
citizens who choose to invest
time, energy, and effort in securing the very best possible for
not only their own children, but
the children of the community,
and nation, é;
Almost daily new problems
are created, -drinking, drug use,
frustration and violence,
THE PTA WAS NEVER MORE
NEEDED,
