EDITORIAL A Job Well Done We have had it in mind for several] weeks to sound a note of praise for the Nevada County Board of Trade, the group responsible forthe county's outstanding exhibit booth at this year's state fair. In addition, the board under chairman Al Shirley should be commended for putting out one of the finest color brochures we have seen. This brochure, advertising the recreational attractions to be found here, was handed out at the fair to those interested. It was a perfect complement tothe recreational theme of the booth exhibit. (We were pleased to note that the brochure incorporated a Nevada County slogan originally suggested by this newsPaper: "Holiday Land With A Heart Of Gold.") Although the board of trade is the organization responsible for this high quality of promotion, equal praise must be given the Nevada County artists who conceived and carried out the projects: Robert Gilberg, Beverly Hackett, and Henry Roese. We understand that among fair exhibitors, Gilberg's booths are admired and often copied the next year. This year's booth, as all who, saw it will testify, was an ingenious blend of motion, light, and bright color. All told, Nevada County can be proud of its representation.
