their annual "Helldorado Night" ‘The Nevada County Committee
Oct.25 with an Arabian dinner
to be served.
Buck Jones is head chef for
the dinner and beef shiskkabob
and other Arabian dishes on the
menu, Jones and his committee
will prepare dinner.
Stan and Mary Dundas are in
charge of the serving crew.
A stage show will follow dinner featuring the Elks Players.
A new. face has been added to
the original cast, Ed Furano.
Furano will play a sultan with
harem girls, an exotic dancer
and a genie among the other
attractions.

on Drug Abuse announces its
second rummage sale, tobe held
Thursday and Friday at the former Automotive Supply building,
110 S, Auburn St., Grass Valley.
Doors will be open from 9
a.m. until 9 p.m. for the benefit of those who keep régular
working hours. Many useful, attractive items in good repair
will be offered.
Proceeds from the sale will
go toward defraying the cost of
maintaining the Drugs Anonymous telephone service. The
service was established by the
committee as an aid to young
people in need of advice, understanding and assistance.
