Elliott, Manager of the San Francisco Veterans Administration Regional Office, said today. Beginning January 1, 1969, VA payments to California veterans with 100 per cent serviceconnected disabilities will be raised from $300 to $400 a month, Elliott said. for all bike riders: Don't carry riders, this is a quick way to wreck your bike, and cause injury to yourself and your passenger. Never hitch a ride on a car or truck, Walk across heavy traffic intersections. Know the rules of the road, give proper arm signals, it will help keep the fenders on your bike. Keep your bike in good condition, Place a white light on the front of your bike and a red signal on the rear. The greatest cause of accidents is speed. Obey all traffic signals. Always be alert and keep your eyes and mind on the road. Make turns from the proper lanes at all times. Keep to the right, and groups should always ride in single file. Always be courteous. Courtesy to others means safety to all. I saw a mobile home last week that was different from any I had ever seen before, It had three stories in the front, a nice bedroom with twin bunks on the bottom story, then the main part of the mobile contained a lovely living room, dining area, center kitchen, large 12 by 14 bedroom with master bath. On the third level was a lovely bedroom and 3/4 bath! When they get the awnings, etc. all on, I plan on taking a picture and perhaps Mr. Mac will publish it so all can see, This was the first mobilehome I had ever been in where one had to go up and down stairs.
