Mr. and Mrs. Brian A. Bishop Carol. Souder .Mr. and Mrs. Brian A. Bishop are athome at 251 Parnassus, San Francisco, following their marri. age Aug. 31, at the St. Patrick's Church, Grass Valley. The bride, the former Carol J. Souder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. CarlE. Souder, 300 Miners Trail, Grass Valley, graduated from the Nevada Union High School and the University of Portland College of Nursing, and will continue with her career as a registered nurse. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.W. “Tabe” Bishop, 516 E. Main, Grass Valley. He is a graduate of the Nevada Urion High School and the University of California at Davis. He is contunuing his education at the Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. Carol, given in marriage by her Marries Brian Bishop father, Carl Souder, wore a bridal gown of chantilly lace over satin made princess style and featuring an empire neckline and a full hooped skirt flowing into a train, Her elbow length silk illusion veil washeld in place by a crown of pearls. She carried two white orchids surrounded by white carnations and stephanotis. Mrs. WilliamGary, Jr., Roseville, was matron of honor Dona Souder, sister of the bride, Grass Valley, attended as bridesmaid. They were attired in powder blue gowns with white and pink carnation bouquets. Barry Barnes, San Francisco, cousin of the groom, attended the groom as best man. Charles Osborne, Ed Montanari and Tim Me Gagin urshered. Father Burke officiated at the double ring ceremony. A reception was held inthe Elks Hall, Grass Valley, following the ceremony. ; A total of 110 species of insects and mites are listed as causing losses to California crops.
