One of the unexpected
bonuses of school starting is
that if I can get our radio

something besides KXOA,
We'll see if three months of

I came home from a ten

All good things must come to an end, so must this
trip that Ruth and I have beentaking, Travel, dear
readers, is not all peaches and cream. There are times
when its just plain hard work, A new bed every night,
daily changes of food, travel difficulties can make for

However, it was back to
school Tuesday with the
opening-day assembly in
which the students were welcomed and Leslie Veldman,

take part in as many extracurricular activities as they
could, support school activities, and striveto do their
best in all fields of study.
Following this, the student
body was dismissed to different parts of the building to
receive program schedules
and then on to first-period
classes,

The '62 yearbook had arrived and was handed out to
those students who had bought
them, starting atnoon on
Wednesday and at a yearbook
party Wednesday night. Because the annual did not

Mr, Lynn Bramkamp, teacher
in charge of the yearbook,
has plans which will make
next year's edition even betterand more enjoyable than
