Five homes and one business house were included on the tour, The Small-Anderson home at 533 Nevada Street is notable for its beatiful antiques, many of them being family herilooms brought by the sisters when they came toNevada City from Virginia, One outstanding item was a rosew Ood piano, beautifully inlaid and brass trimmed, The piano, dated 1832, was made by Dubois at Ethelard, New York, and taken from an old hen house on a plantation near Farmville, Virginia, When: found the case was in excellent condition with the exception of one roller and thick coat of brown paint. Christie home during the house tour Saturday, Theatre Flamenco Gives A Spotty Community Concert Performance By Don Hoagland The Twin Cities Concert Association opened its new season in Grass Valley Saturday night rather weakly, but ended with a strong Finish, The fare for the evening was a performance by Theatre Flamenco,which earlier releases had assured everyone included authentic Spanish dancers and guitarists, Perhapsthey were, but for the first half of the program they seemed as uncertain about Flamenco dancing as didthe audience, Neither did much to help the other,

Warren, engineer for the Division of Highways District III appeared before a special meeting of the Nevada City Council Monday morning to explain the latest developments in the free= way construction situation, Warren the Division of Highways ahd the Highway Commission all received praise from the council members, (Cont, on Page 20) en Engineer W.L.
