A motion was made, duly seconded and passed unanimously, approving the minutes of the previous meeting, as presented by the Clerk, A motion was made, duly seconded and passed unanimously, authorizing the Chairman to sign the Claims Register, thereby releasing the following Warrants for payment: Fund NO, AMOUNT Fish & Game ¥3$ 833,33 General #1, 010 -#1, 022 6,672.87 Accum, Capitol tlay #24425 102, 68 Spec, Aviation #19-#20 12.68 Exploitation #10 3,000.00 Road. #203 #229 14,197.79 The week of September 24-October 1, 1966, declared as’ National 4-H Club Week in Nevada County. The Probation Officer appeared before the Board and rendered @ report of his Department, The Auditor-C ontroller presented the following documents, which were adopted by the Board: Resolution 66-246 ( A Resolution authorizing Agreement with the State Employees’ Retirement System, ) Resolution 66-247 ( A Resolution amending the Authorized Personnel Resolution of the Welfare Department. ) Ordinance #346 ( An Ordinance granting $15,00 for Hospital Maintenance Personnel, to work the P.M, or. night shift.) An Executive Session was declared at the hour of 10:27 P.M, and the Board reconvened at the hour of 10:50 A.M., with all mémbers noted as present, A discussion ensued, relative of installation of Lagoons, and the Board adopted Ordinance #347, which states that a Lagoon shall not be used, asa part of a private sewer disposal plant, without the express permission of the Board of Supervisors, The County Counsel presented proposed Resolution 66-248 (A Resolution establishing a Central Service Car Pool, ) which was adopted by the Board, The following documents were presented by the Co, Counsel and adopted by the Board: Resolution 66 -249(A Resolution authorizing Agreement between the Sierra Medical Association and the Co, to perform Private Medical Services ‘to the Nev. General Hospital, ) Resolution 66 -250 ( A Resolution authorizing Agreement with Mr. Amold, for janitorial services at the Nev, Co, Government Center in Truckee,) This being the time, heretofore set for a Public Hearing, regarding the establishment of a South Donner Assessment District, the Clerk referred to a letter from the Law Firm of Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, stating that the Firm of Stone & Youngberg, San Francisco Investment Firm, have been unable to sell the Bid Bonds, and suggest that an Agreement be entered into with A. Teichert & Son, Inc,, to leave its bid open until next spring, in an attempt perhaps the Bond Market may improve, The County Counsel requested that adoption of documents be held over until the Sept, 27, 1966, meeting of the Board, The Chairman asked if there were any persons in the audience, . who would like to speak in favor or opposition to the creation of the South Donner Lake Assessment District and no one appeared, The Public Hearing was continued until September 27, 1966, at the hour of 11:30 A.M, Ordinance #348 ( An Authorized Personnel Resolution) adopted, The Director of the Department of Public Works appeared before the Board and presented proposed Resolution 66-251 ( A Resolution consenting tothe execution and recordation of Grant of Easements for Tahoe Meadows Subdivision No, 1,) which was adopted by the Board, A discussion ensued regarding a parking lot for the County, and after a thorough study of available property, the Board voted to purahase Lot #1, that property owned by Mr, Robert McMasters, Sr., and two adjoining properties. Subject property will provide 61 parking slots, The Planning Director appeared before thie Board and presented the Final Map of Alta’Sierra Sky Park anda lengthy discussion A motion’ was made by Supervisor Blake, seconded by Supervisor Bennallack and upon a roll call ballot, passed unanimously, to adopt Resolution 66-252 ( A Resolution approving Subdivision, Improvement Agreement with Alta Sierra Ranches, Inc., pertaining to Alta Sierra Sky Park.) The Purchasing Agent appeared before the Board and rendered the report of his Department, .Y Nevada County received a check in the ‘amount of $1,000.00, representing the 4th place premium awarded to Nevada County, for its exhibit in the State Fair.
