A story carried in The Union one day last week stated that there was a shortage of vacant houses in western Nevada county and the LAC Halloween Haunted House committee has found that statement to be too true! For the past three years the Liberal Arts group has staged very successful "Haunted House” tours for kids and adults alike during Halloween week and they'd like to repeat ‘again this year BUT, they have no place to perform. : Co-chairmen Mary Waggoner and Gene -Bozarth have scoured the area to no avail.
