Little Susan Kathleen McWilliams, age three, of Berkeley, niece of the bride, was the flower girl, All attendants were gowned alike in floor length gowns of
white over yellow, with yellow veils and bouquets, Paul Finlay, of Roseville, served the groom as best man, Jim Slouber, brother of the groom, Tom Boffman and Dick Bunning, all of Grass Valley; Wally Rothbeg, Bijou, and Jesse Taylor, Tahoe City, were the ushers, Mrs, McPherson chose a bright blue dress with matching jacket and hat for her daughter's wedding. A pale pink ensemble with matching hat was chosen by the groom's mother, Corsages of white orchids completed their attire, Mrs, Paul Paye was the organist and Tom Taylor was the crucifer. Both John and Nancy were graduated from Nevada Union High School and Sierra College. Paynes of Duarte; Miss Carol Waite of Martinez; Mrs, John Hart of Orinda; Mrs, Raymond Agnew of Santa Cruz; the Fred A, Tuemmiers and sons ‘Stephen and Brian, of Truckee, : Benefit Art Show Is Scheduled For This Saturday An art show to benefit the cystic fibrosis fund will be held under the direction of the Kromo Art Association of Yuba City, sponsored by the Iota Eta Chapter ofthe Delta Theta Tau, The “Au Pont de Paris” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to dusk on September 10 at Ellis Lake Island at 12th aiid D Streets, Marysville, There will be paintings on display and for sale by members of the Kromo Art Association and the Pioneer Arts of Nevada County, Also, botiques, gifts of all descriptions, and french pastries, Chairman of the show is Mrs, Shirley French of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Handling the art participation is Mrs, D.F. Johnson, President of Kromo Art Association. Several members of the Pioneer Arts of Nevada County won ribbons at the District Fair. ‘ Winners were Pat Harvey, Marguerite Cavanaugh, Maxine Mellinger, Olive Hughes, Roxie Tingley, Rugh Phelan, Nick Vogt and Maybelle Haynes.
