4, MODIFIC ‘ATION AND MAINTENANCE OF VEGETATIVE FUELS IN THE FUEL
MODIFICATION ZONE SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

C. OVERLYMATURE, DEAD AND DYING TREES SHALL BE EVALUATED AS TO
THEIR POTENTIAL TO IGNITE AND CARRY FIRE. ALL TREES DETERMINED TO
CONTAIN SUCH POTENTIAL SHALL BE REMOVED.

6. PRIOR TO ANY BUILDING CONSTRUCTION, A DRIVEWAY SHALL BE
CONSTRUCTED TO SERVE THE BUILDING SITE IN ACCORDANCE WITH
ARTICLE 3 OF NEVADA CO. ORD. 1734. IN ADDITION TO THE COUNTY ORD.
THE FOLLOWING DRIVEWAY IMPROVEMENTS ARF REQUIRED:
A. DRIVEWAYS EXCEEDING 150 FEET, BUT LESS THAN 800 FEET IN LENGTH,
SHALL PROVIDE A TURNOUT NEAR THE MIDPOINT OF THE DRIVEWAY.
WHERE THE DRIVEWAY EXCEEDS 800 FEET, TURNOUTS SHALL BE PROVIDED
NO MORE THAN 400 FEET APART. THE APPLICANT'S ENGINEER SHALL
CERTIFY THAT DRIVEWAYS CAN BE CONSTRUCTED TO NEV. CO. DRIVEWAY
STANDARDS.
B. A TURNAROUND SHALL BE PROVIDED AT ALL BUILDING
SITES ON DRIVEWAYS OVER 300 FEET IN LENGTH AND SHALL
oo BE WITHIN 50 FEET OF THE BUILDING.
7, PRIOR TO ANY OCCUPANCY, VEGETATION CLEARANCE AROUND STRUCTURES SHALL MEET THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE PUBLIC RESOURCE CODE SECTION 4291. STRUCTURES SHALL MAINTAIN A FIRE BREAK BY REMOVING AND
CLEARING AWAY ALL BRUSH, FLAMMABLE VEGETATION OR
COMBUSTIBLE GROWTH WITHIN 30 FEET OF STRUCTURES.
ADDITIONAL CLEARING MAY BE REQUIRED BY THE FIRE
MARSHAL IF EXTRA HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS EXIST.
