IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN. of the City of Grass Valley, County of Neveds, State of California, T, John Pascoe, mind end memory, and not of the age of seventy years, and being of sound and disposing fraud or undue influence of ery person whetever, do make, acting under duress, menace, in the manner following, that is to publish end deciare this my last will and testament, say: Piret, I direct that my body be decently and properly eee ee er eaketion or display, but with due regerd for my condition and circumstances in life. I direct that ny Reecutrix Rereinafetr mamed, pay out of the first moneys that shell come into her hands, tre expenses of my last illness, should there be ony expense, and also my funeral expenses, Secondly, To my grand-son, John Berryman, I give, devise and bequeath my gold watch and chain, and it is my request that he shall never dispose of the samo. Thirdly, To my sister, Mrs. Mary James, residing in Falmouth, England, I give, devise and bequaeth the sum of One Hundred Do‘lars. Fourthly: To my suster, Grace Magor, residing in West Buckland, South Molton, Devon, England, I give, devise and bequeath the sum of One Hundred Dollars. Fifthly: To my brother, Emanuel Pascoe, residing in the County of Nevada, State of California, I give, devise and bequeath the sum of One Hundred Dollars. . Sixthly: All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, not hereinbefore disposed of, I desire to have distributed among my son, Williem J. Pascoe, my daughter, Sarah Jane Berryman; my step-daughter, Kate Ford and my grand-daughter Sarafi Jane Whiting, in the proportion hereinafter specified, to-wit: To my daughter, Sarah Jane Berryman, I give, devise and bequeath one-third of the said residue, as mentioned in the preceeding paragraph. To my son, William J. Pascoe, I give, devise and baqueath one-third of the said residue of my estate as hereinbefore provided.
